The new Specialized S-Works Torch Lace shoe combines the timeless style of the lace-up upper with unmatched performance in efficiency, light weight, and comfort. Like each of our shoes, it is made according to Body Geometry criteria: identify a critical issue, solve it with design, and validate the concept with the scientific method. Comfort: The forefoot of the S-Works Torch Lace, developed through Retül data and numerous foot scans, is 4mm wider than the S-Works 7. The zoned upper is flexible enough to adapt to numerous foot shapes without deforming to ensure a secure and consistent fit. The asymmetric heel counter prevents blisters on the ankle while providing the necessary stability at the knee. Efficiency: Each Body Geometry shoe with the patented Varus Wedge, which creates a 1.5mm outward tilt, improves ankle, knee and hip alignment for stable pedaling. Thanks to the lace closure, carbon sole and lightweight upper, the weight of the S-Works Torch Lace is low, just 200 grams for a size 42 shoe. The I-Beam reinforcement inside the carbon sole creates the perfect stiffness-to-weight ratio for the big efforts of professional racers.
