Road and Racing Cycling Components by Campagnolo

Campagnolo, premium components for your bike

After hanging up his bike in 1933, Tullio Campagnolo launched his business in Vicenza. This marked the birth of one of the most important brands in Italian cycling, now reaching its 80 Years milestone. Campagnolo components, made famous by Fausto Coppi, Eddie Merckx, Marco Pantani and many other champions, still dominate the international stage today. The Veneto-based brand is in fact an official partner of the Team AG2R Citroen, showcasing the outstanding road bikes BMC through its own components. Build quality, innovation and instantly recognizable design: this is the profile of a company that has always placed the cyclist’s health first. And one that has launched numerous patents copied by many.

Drivetrain

When it comes to Campagnolo, the bike derailleur takes center stage. A global leader in this specialized field, the Vicenza-based brand produces individual parts and complete groupsets. It is up to you to choose what you need from the vast Campagnolo catalog. Shifters and rear derailleurs are available in a wide range of families, both mechanical and electronic, with 11 or 12 speeds, for disc brakes or rim brakes. Road models are complemented by components designed specifically for bikes gravel and off-road riding in general. Chain, bottom bracket, crankset, cassette and hoods: the groupset is completed with essential accessories, components whose construction quality makes them virtually everlasting.

Wheels

Although the drivetrain is the reference category, much of the brand’s success is tied to road bike wheels. Not by chance, it was Campagnolo that launched the first racing quick release in the early Years ’30s. The wheel range is organized into four lines, dedicated respectively to asphalt, track, adventure routes and triathlon. There is also a distinction between aluminum and carbon wheels, as well as between high-profile, mid-profile and low-profile models. Wheels for disc brakes or V-brakes: this is another branch of the vast catalog. Last but not least, Campagnolo wheels are divided into progressively higher-end lines . At the top of the evolution range, the WTO 45 DB 2wf from the Bora family and the Carbon Disc from the Shamal family make their debut.
