The Specialized S-Works Aethos frameset is the frame of the first-generation Aethos, the bike Specialized designed for the simple pleasure of riding. Without sacrificing performance, it is the lightest frame in its category: a project born from countless calculations with a single aim, to deliver a perfect ride, and the ideal starting point for building the road bike of your dreams.
FACT 12r carbon and Rider First Engineered
It's made from FACT 12r carbon, the flagship material of the S-Works range, using the Rider First Engineered method, which tunes the frame's stiffness and response for every size, so every rider gets the same ride feel. The bottom bracket is threaded, easier to maintain, and the internal cable routing is dedicated to electronic drivetrains.
Fork, seatpost and thru-axles
The kit includes the S-Works FACT Carbon fork with 12x100 mm thru-axle and flat mount brake mount, the carbon Roval Alpinist seatpost and the 30 mm Specialized alloy seat clamp with titanium bolt. The rear end uses a 12x142 mm thru-axle and flat mount disc brakes, compatible with current road groupsets.

Is it compatible with mechanical groupsets?
No, the internal cable routing is designed only for electronic drivetrains, such as Shimano Di2, SRAM AXS or Campagnolo EPS. The hydraulic disc brakes are flat mount.
What is included in the frameset?
The kit includes frame, S-Works FACT Carbon fork, carbon Roval Alpinist seatpost and 30 mm alloy seat clamp with titanium bolt. Headset and components are chosen separately.
Which bottom bracket does it need?
The frame has a threaded BSA bottom bracket, which installs without a press and is easy to maintain over time. It's compatible with cranksets from the main road brands.
How do I choose the right size?
Start from your height and inseam and compare them with the Specialized geometry chart. For a precise choice, a bike fit is worthwhile, as it also takes into account flexibility, reach and your usual position.

Non-EU shipping

Returns and refunds
- You can request a return within 60 days of delivery.
- Start your request from the Returns and Order Cancellations page by entering your order number.
- Within the first 14 days, you may try the product as necessary to check its features and fit.
- From day 15 to day 60, the product must be unused, intact and complete with original packaging, labels and accessories.
- Use beyond what is necessary may result in a reduction of the refund based on the loss in value of the product.
- The refund is issued, after the returned item has been checked, using the same payment method used for the order.
- If you paid by cash on delivery, please provide a valid IBAN in the return request notes.
- Direct exchanges for size, colour or model are not available: return the item and place a new order.
- For incorrect, damaged or defective products, please contact Customer Service before making the return.

- Place the product's original packaging inside an outer shipping package.
