When it comes time to attack uphill, when you go on a solo breakaway or if you find yourself sprinting over the finish line, every watt counts. That's why Specialized designed the S-Works Ares to be the most efficient and performing shoes on the market. Decades of experience with Body Geometry development, obsessive innovation, and partnering with the best athletes at work have helped create an entirely new racing shoe. A new closure system (patent pending), reinforced interior in Dyneema® without tongue and a very stiff FACT Powerline ™ carbon sole prevent foot play inside the shoe, reduce strain on tendons and ensure that every watts impressed on the pedals translate into motion. These shoes are 1% faster than any of our other models, and on the finish line, that's all that matters.

• Body Geometry features, such as the longitudinal arch, the metatarsal button and the varus wedge are fundamental for greater comfort, optimal performance and less chance of suffering trauma. Proper hip, foot and knee alignment reduces lateral / medial knee movement and safeguards circulation to the toes.
• The patent-pending closure system ensures excellent sealing for off-saddle efforts.
• Non-elastic zones have been created where the Dyneema® material is inserted into layers of synthetic material and TPU for a perfect connection and optimal comfort.
• Maximum power transfer thanks to the stiff and lightweight FACT Powerline ™ carbon fiber sole: stiffness index 15.0.
• BOA® Li2 Fit system with independent registers and micro-adjustment, with Boa® guarantee.
• The PadLock ™ heel unit always holds the heel in place for better acceleration.
• Non-slip and easily replaceable rear cleat.
• Form Fit fit with wide forefoot for perfect connection and exceptional comfort.
• The titanium threaded bushes can be reversed to move the cleat further back up to 5mm.

Local VAT and any customs duties for shipments of goods to customers outside the European Union (non-EU) will be charged to the recipient and requested by the courier at the time of delivery. If the delivery is not made due to refusal to pay the customs duties (local VAT and any applicable tariffs) requested by the importing country, all costs incurred by us for the return of the goods will be deducted from the refund.
