Scott Road Comp Shoes: Performance and Comfort for Road Cycling
The Scott Road Comp shoes are the ideal choice for cyclists tackling long road riding sessions. Designed with a focus on energy efficiency and stability, these shoes combine high-quality composite materials with advanced adjustment technologies. The BOA® L6 system enables precise micro-adjustments to fit the foot perfectly, ensuring a secure and stable fit throughout the day. The composite outsole with a stiffness index of 6 offers the right balance between power transfer and natural flexibility, making walking easier when needed. Compatible with three-bolt road cleats, the Scott Road Comp integrates seamlessly with road cycling-specific pedals.
BOA® Technology and Advanced Ergonomic Comfort
The BOA® adjustment system is the technical core of these shoes, allowing quick and effortless adjustments while riding. This micro-adjustable dial mechanism, supported by ultra-light laces and low-friction guides, ensures even pressure distribution across the entire foot. The integrated Sport Fit technology enhances comfort by eliminating the classic pressure points typical of traditional road shoes. The removable ErgoLogic insole provides anatomically pre-shaped support that improves power transfer during pedaling and offers a stable base for extended time in the saddle. Lasting comfort is ensured by the use of breathable materials and a generous internal geometry.
Durable Construction and Certified Technical Materials
The construction of the Scott Road Comp reflects Scott's build standards for durability and performance. The upper in polyurethane and polyester resists daily wear while maintaining structural integrity over time. The outsole combines polyamide, fiberglass, and thermoplastic polyurethane to deliver controlled stiffness without compromising flexibility. The polyester inner lining promotes breathability and microclimate comfort. The approximate weight of 295 grams per shoe (US 8.5) makes these shoes competitive in the category. Available in sizes 38-48, the Scott Road Comp is a versatile solution for cyclists with different foot shapes and fit preferences.
