Fox Front Mudguard: universal protection for mountain bikes
The Fox front mudguard is a universal solution for protecting the frame and components of your mountain bike from mud and debris during rides in wet conditions. Thanks to its compatibility with various fork types and wheel sizes, this accessory easily adapts to most modern MTB setups. The polyurethane construction ensures durability and weather resistance, maintaining long-lasting protective performance over time. Ideal for riders who practice mountain biking in wet or muddy environments, the Fox mudguard minimizes the need for frequent maintenance of the frame and drivetrain.
Design and technical compatibility
This mudguard has been designed to integrate seamlessly with most front suspension systems used on contemporary MTB bikes. Its ergonomic shape reduces mud buildup without compromising fork function, allowing full travel and corretto shock absorption. Compatibility with different wheel sizes (from 26" to 29") makes it a versatile and practical accessory. The material used is resistant to UV rays and temperature changes, ensuring consistent performance in a range of weather conditions. Installation is simple and requires no modifications to the frame or original bicycle components.
Performance and maintenance
The smooth polyurethane surface helps water and mud slide off, reducing the adhesion of contaminating materials. This results in less load on the fork and reduced wear on the headset bearings and suspension seals. During MTB rides in wet conditions, the mudguard prevents spray from reaching critical mechanical parts, preserving component longevity and reducing post-ride cleaning time. The material's structural strength also makes it reliable on particularly demanding terrain, where mud is compact and abrasive.
