For maximum protection of the eye from radiation the new lens: IR-Infrared. The harmful effects of optical radiation on the eye are determined by their different wavelength and the resulting energy level. Radiation is divided into ultraviolet UV radiation (length: 100-380 nm), visible radiation (length 380-780 nm) and infrared IR-A (780 nm-1 mm). The IR lens totally blocks the absorption of ultraviolet rays (UV-A, UV-B, UV-C), responsible for diseases such as cataracts, retinal degeneration and photokeratoconjunctivitis. It also blocks the absorption of blue light (380-550 nm), responsible for photoretinitis.It blocks the absorption of infrared rays (IR-A), which cause thermal damage and induce cataracts, in addition to being responsible for corneal and retinal damage, it also protects against dry keratoconjunctivitis. Shipments outside the EU
