Silverskin Core Warm high-neck long-sleeve jersey base layer: high-performance cycling base layer
The Silverskin Core Warm high-neck long-sleeve jersey base layer is a professional base layer designed for cyclists and athletes seeking thermal comfort and moisture management. The seamless construction eliminates irritating seams, reducing chafing during long rides. The fabric in 97% polyester and 3% elastane delivers superior stretch and fast recovery after stretching, maintaining its original shape over time. The high neck provides additional protection from the elements, while the close fit ensures body-hugging support without restricting joint movement.
Ergonomic design and technical construction of the Jersey base layer
The ribbed side panels follow the anatomical line of the body, strategically distributing the fabric to reduce moisture buildup in critical areas. This distinctive structure is not purely aesthetic, but functional for thermal control during effort. The long sleeve protects the arms from UV rays, cold wind and abrasions, an essential feature for cycling in different weather conditions. The combination of technical polyester and elastane ensures optimal breathability while retaining body heat, ideal for cycling training sessions in spring and autumn.
Thermal performance and usage applications of the cycling base layer
This garment is positioned as the perfect mid-layer thermal layer in layered cycling clothing for outdoor use. The Jersey technical base layer wicks moisture to the outside, preventing cooling caused by sweat evaporation. The close fit reduces aerodynamic drag without creating pressure points, a critical factor during long-distance rides. Compatible with most cycling jackets, it guarantees complete freedom of movement and seasonal reliability on varied terrain.
