Northwave Air Out vest: technical vest for cycling
The Northwave Air Out vest is a windproof cycling vest designed to provide protection on rides characterized by low temperatures and variable weather conditions. The construction uses a three-layer membrane fabric, engineered to limit wind and water ingress while keeping weight and bulk to a minimum. A technical solution to wear over a Jersey long-sleeve jersey during the coldest phases of the ride.
Three-layer membrane and weather protection
The fabric has a W/P waterproof rating of 5,000 mm H2O and provides a good barrier against light rain, moisture, and wind. The structure of the waterproof cycling vest primarily protects the torso without adding the bulk of a full jacket. The two-way zipper also allows you to quickly adjust the front opening and manage ventilation more precisely during exertion.
Compactness, carrying capacity and visibility
Once removed, the vest can be folded down to a small size and secured with the integrated elastic, making it easy to carry during rides. The three rear pockets let you keep food, accessories, and small items close at hand, while reflective inserts improve visibility in low-light conditions. The compact construction makes this winter cycling vest suitable for long rides and changing temperatures as well.
