Ale R-EV1 Thermo Shield jacket: Thermal Insulation for Winter Cycling
The thermal jacket Ale R-EV1 Thermo Shield is the ideal solution for those who ride in winter cycling conditions with harsh temperatures and changing weather. Designed for high-intensity efforts with stops, restarts, and climbs, this cycling jacket keeps body temperature stable thanks to the highly insulating Polartec®Alpha® fabric. The inner material retains body heat and seals it in, while the inherent hydrophobic structure repels moisture and dries quickly, eliminating the wet feel typical of other garments. The -5°/10°C temperature range makes it perfect for the most demanding autumn and winter rides.
Wind Protection and Moisture Management
The outer material of the windproof jacket combines a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment with a protective shell structure that effectively repels water and blocks cold air currents. This dual-layer configuration ensures superior weather protection without compromising internal breathability. Klima Hidro-Tech 2L technology provides optimal moisture management, allowing the body to stay dry even during intense efforts. The low weight of 365 grams ensures lightness without sacrificing insulation performance, making it ideal for those seeking a balance between protection and mobility.
Ergonomic Design and Practical Functionality
The sporty, close-fitting cut of the jacket guarantees excellent freedom of movement, adapting perfectly to the cyclist’s body without restricting pedaling. The large rear pockets offer ample space for a smartphone, energy supplements, extra clothing, and essential accessories during rides. Reflective details integrated into the design improve visibility in low-light conditions, a crucial element for cycling safety. The combination of functionality and technical comfort makes this jacket a reliable choice for competitive cycling and recreational riding in the cold season.
