MET Parachute MCR Helmet: convertible protection for enduro and all-mountain
The Parachute MCR helmet is an innovative solution in the convertible full-face helmets segment for mountain biking. Developed by MET in collaboration with FIDLOCK, this model combines two configurations in a single structure: the full-face mode delivers complete protection with a sleek, aggressive design, while the MCR magnetic chinbar allows instant conversion to an open-face helmet for an all-mountain style. The patented MCR technology uses a magnetic release system for the chinbar, ensuring convenience without compromising safety. This versatility makes it ideal for enduro, all-mountain, and e-MTB riding, allowing the protection level to be adapted to different riding conditions.
Construction and materials of the convertible helmet
The Parachute MCR construction meets the highest protection standards. The In-Mold full-coverage shell ensures stiffness and light weight, while the impact-absorbing polystyrene inner liner dissipates impacts. The chinbar features an injected PU coating that combines durability and comfort. With a weight of 840 g in full-face configuration (Size M) and 455 g in open mode, the helmet maintains an optimal balance between protection and practicality. The flexible, injected and adjustable visor adapts to different light conditions and provides protection from the elements. The integrated strap anchors ensure stable attachment, while the FIDLOCK® magnetic buckle makes fastening and unfastening the strap easy.
Ventilation, comfort and safety certifications
The ventilation system of the Parachute MCR includes 21 vents with internal air channeling and a breathable chinbar, ensuring optimal airflow during intense rides. The BOA® FS1 Fit System enables precise adjustments and is compatible with hairstyles such as a ponytail. The removable comfort pads and the included cheek pads in two sizes allow for customization and easy cleaning. From a safety standpoint, the helmet is certified ASTM and MIPS®, with extended head coverage and a flexible visor for superior protection. CE EN 1078: 2012 certification confirms compliance with European standards. Compatibility with goggles, glasses, and MET Dualgel accessories completes an offer designed for discerning cyclists.

Non-EU shipping
Local VAT and any customs duties for shipments of goods to customers outside the European Union (non-EU) will be charged to the recipient and requested by the courier at the time of delivery. If the delivery is not made due to refusal to pay the customs duties (local VAT and any applicable tariffs) requested by the importing country, all costs incurred by us for the return of the goods will be deducted from the refund.

Returns and refunds
- You can request a return within 60 days of delivery.
- Start your request from the Returns and Order Cancellations page by entering your order number.
- Within the first 14 days, you may try the product as necessary to check its features and fit.
- From day 15 to day 60, the product must be unused, intact and complete with original packaging, labels and accessories.
- Use beyond what is necessary may result in a reduction of the refund based on the loss in value of the product.
- The refund is issued, after the returned item has been checked, using the same payment method used for the order.
- If you paid by cash on delivery, please provide a valid IBAN in the return request notes.
- Direct exchanges for size, colour or model are not available: return the item and place a new order.
- For incorrect, damaged or defective products, please contact Customer Service before making the return.

- Use suitable packaging to protect the product during transport.
- Place the product's original packaging inside an outer shipping package.
- Do not apply adhesive tape, shipping labels or writing directly to the original packaging.
- Return all accessories, manuals, components and any complimentary items received.
- Do not remove tags, labels or seals unless necessary to inspect the product.
- When trying on clothing that you may return, avoid perfume, deodorant or any use that may leave odours or marks.
- Use a trackable shipping service and keep the shipping receipt until the return has been completed.
