The very steep seat tube optimizes the pedaling position to save energy on descents, while the refined anti-squat reduces bobbing. The result? We developed a rear triangle with flexible stays to maximize suspension performance, eliminating the extra weight and maintenance needs of the pivots used in traditional models. Field and lab tests show that with this solution, more common on carbon bikes, the Chisel Comp EVO has achieved the impossible: efficiency, maneuverability, and lightness of an advanced alloy design, with flexible stays. HYDROFORMED ALLOY. The Chisel Comp EVO saves material and weight thanks to a hydroformed seat tube in one piece that integrates the seat post, main pivot, and bottom bracket. In more traditional bikes, these elements are instead welded to the seat tube.
