The PREDATOR 01TT saddle is Prologo's integrated time trial saddle. The pinnacle of an ambitious and meticulous R&D and design process that began 18 months ago, leading the Italian company to create an extremely innovative, lightweight, and aerodynamic model. A compact and high-performance saddle weighing only 135 grams that perfectly meets the needs of the most demanding teams, time trialists, and triathletes always in search of the ultimate expression of speed and power. To further improve the aerodynamics of the new saddle, the shape of the PREDATOR 01TT was designed using CFD simulation software and then refined with specific wind tunnel tests that relate the saddle to the bicycle and the athlete themselves. The sinuous side wings on either side of the base conceal and shield the rail and seat post clamp from the wind, while the rear, even more pronounced and sharp compared to the previous version, channels the dirty airflow coming from the cyclist's back parallel to the road, thus reducing the drag coefficient. The revolutionary carbon rail, a true plate perfectly integrated into the base, features a much wider flat surface compared to traditional round or oval section rails. An innovative and patented solution that ensures maximum power transfer and improves handling and connection between the seat post and the cyclist in all phases of pedaling, allowing the athlete to perceive even the slightest sensation transmitted by the frame. The PREDATOR 01TT is a modular saddle with an eye on sustainability. The integrated plate and base are specifically designed to be separable from each other. This way, it is possible to more easily replace, repair, and recycle the various parts of the saddle at the end of the product's life cycle. The ergonomic shape of the saddle, only 110 mm wide, has been designed to facilitate maximum rotation of the athlete's pelvis, allowing them to assume and maintain an extremely aerodynamic position for longer. The seating area of the PREDATOR 01TT features a surface with increased padding made of EVA material, to provide maximum support. The wide central PAS channel, which runs the entire length of the seating area, helps reduce pressure peaks on soft tissues, improving comfort. Available in two versions. The extremely compact dimensions of this V-shape saddle (260x110 mm) are even more astonishing when considering only the padded part, which is indeed only 170 mm long. There are two versions available, which, while maintaining the same compact dimensions, differ in the width of the nose. In the narrow version, the nose of the saddle is 50 mm wide, while in the wide version, the nose is a full 60 mm wide to ensure a larger support surface and therefore better comfort.
