The Mavic XA Flex shoes are designed for trail with platform pedals, they combine the efficiency of high performance pedaling with maximum traction and comfort, both by bike and on foot. Using the platform pedals can help you maneuver your body and adjust your position on the bicycle on rough terrain. The XA Flex have been designed with an internal Carbitex plate that generates a rigid pedaling platform for efficiency and power, but with sufficient flexibility in the front area to make the foot comfortable, especially when walking. It's important, because in track cycling it's not just about pedaling. Random paths often require you to climb steep hills, skirting slippery rocks or crossing streams with your bicycle on your back. The XA Flex sole design incorporates differentiated areas, with studs and grip on the toe and heel to offer traction while walking. The midsole is flat at the bottom to maximize grip on the pedal and incorporates an additional layer of anti-vibration material that increases absorption and minimizes the impacts transmitted by the pedal. The shoes are made of a light and scratch-resistant material, able to withstand the hard punishment of the path. They incorporate a reinforced toe that protects the toes from rocks, roots and other obstacles on the ground. The sturdy and light instep protects against mud, dirt and water and is easy to clean.

Shipments outside the EU
Local VAT and any customs duties for shipments of goods to customers outside the European Community (extra EU) will be borne by the consignee and will be requested by the forwarder at the time of delivery of the goods. In case of non-delivery because of the customs duties (local VAT and any duties) required by the importing country, any costs incurred by us for the return of the goods will be deducted from the refund.
