Equipe R shorts feature the warmest Spring Fall fabric, with a tight mesh construction to protect against wind, light rain or splashes rising from the road surface. These Spring Fall shorts from the Racing series are developed with the same insulating fabric as the new Winter Warmers, offering an update of the previous model capable of providing even more warmth.The Equipe R keeps you warmer on the legs and hips, and provides more even body temperature regulation than the previous model. The new material from which it is made undergoes an environmentally sustainable water-repellent treatment, which prevents the fabric from getting wet by letting water slide off in light precipitation or when splashes rise from the road surface. These shorts also introduce the new Equipe R S11 pad, featuring an updated shape that better supports the body in the most aggressive pedaling positions, and the patented goldenGate 2.0 floating structure.

• RX Extreme has the highest thermal insulation factor of the entire RX family. It is a brushed, insulating and ladderproof fabric featuring high breathability and a water-repellent treatment, perfect for racing in light rain, wind and cool temperatures.
  
• AEPD 11 racingFit is a streamlined cut that conforms to the body like a second skin, designed to wrap around the body and provide all-around stability and compression. The raw-cut waist hem design eliminates pressure during the most aggressive pedaling positions.
  
• PILtec Plug-In: a lightweight strip of ultra-breathable fabric applied to the hems. The silicone micro-texture treatment, invisible from the outside, stabilizes the fit and ensures the shorts stay on even when damp or wet.
  
• Acqua Shield Tec: an environmentally sustainable water repellent treatment that allows water to run off along the fabric surface, protecting the skin and keeping it dry.
