Immersed in Zipp's tradition of innovation, the 303 SW is a modern and classic wheelset, perfectly suited for road, gravel, cobblestone, and cyclocross riding. The 303 SW rim internally integrates the Zipp AXS wheel sensor for accurate tire pressure monitoring on the bike. It allows for real-time monitoring and analysis of tire pressure without an external device mounted on the valve stem. Precise tire pressure adjustment helps cyclists optimize speed and performance in a constantly evolving riding environment. Before heading out, check the pressure immediately: the green light means you can go. While riding, monitor the pressure to set the ideal adjustment and promptly detect any issues. The deep 40 mm rim design of the 303 SW draws inspiration from the gravel-specific 303 XPLR design, utilizing a wide rim design for high aerodynamic efficiency and low rolling resistance on a wide tire platform designed for modern riding at lower inflation pressures. The rim profile offers low aerodynamic drag and improved transition between rim and tire, increasing aerodynamic efficiency with wider tires. The wide rim position also provides less tire flex for reduced rolling resistance. The combination of a wider tire, greater volume, and lower inflation pressure helps reduce rider fatigue, making the ride smoother on pavements and imperfect roads: it is the tire-wheel system that absorbs vibrations, not the rider. A revised layering and carbon design have also infused the already bomb-proof 303 SW with an improvement of nearly 10% in impact resistance while reducing weight. The 303 SW is optimized for tires 30 to 35 mm wide. The rims of the 303 SW feature a refined shape that helps protect the tire in the event of an impact that would otherwise cause a pinch flat. At the heart of it all is the ZR1 hub set, which is now equipped with stainless steel bearings for greater durability and smoother performance.
