Princeton Peak 4550 EVO II Wheels: Aerodynamic Performance and Extreme Lightweight
Princeton Peak 4550 Evolution II wheels represent the definitive evolution in the segment of lightweight, high-performance road wheels. Inherited from the improvements of the Wake 6560 Evolution II, these wheels raise the standards of quality and reliability even further. The rim internal width has been increased to 22 mm internal and 32 mm external, while rim weight has been reduced to just 390 g. All rims are pre-balanced to match the included tubeless valves, ensuring precise, uncompromising installation. The tubeless ready system with a drilled tire bed allows the use of clincher tires with inner tubes or tubeless tires without the need for tape and without pressure restrictions.
Hooked Rim Technology and Certified Safety
Unlike competing hookless rims, the Peak 4550 wheels retain the hooked design, which Princeton CarbonWorks considers the safest and fastest solution for road riding and racing. This technical approach eliminates the potentially dangerous issues associated with hookless rims, especially regarding tire choice and pressure limits. The wheels pass 120J impact tests and weigh 1200 g in the lightest configuration. All wheelsets include Alpina Hyperlite spokes and a selection of premium hubs: White Industries, DT Swiss, Chris King, and Tactic Racing. The impact-certified construction ensures reliability even in the most demanding conditions.
Configuration Versatility and Climbing Performance
The Princeton Peak 4550 EVO II wheels are available in 10 paint options and six hub configurations, allowing every rider to customize their wheelset. Colors include the standard shades Matte Black, Gloss Black, Matte White, Gloss White, Gloss Gold, and Gloss Chrome, plus the new Gloss Sand, Gloss Cobalt, Gloss Red, and Gloss Chameleon finishes. Every set includes tubeless valves and padded protective bags. Performance is optimized for superior aerodynamics, structural rigidity, and explosive lightweight climbing performance. The build quality and precision on descents, combined with stability on flat sections, make these wheels ideal for riders seeking racing performance.

- You can return your order within 60 days of purchase.
- Returns are eligible for a refund only: size exchanges are not available.
- You will receive your refund within 15 business days after we receive and inspect the item.
- Returns are FREE in Italy. For other countries, return shipping is at the customer’s expense.
- For returns from Germany and Austria, €6.90 will be deducted from the refund.
- For returns from Spain and France, €9.90 will be deducted from the refund.
- For other countries, the cost varies depending on the selected carrier. Shipping is entirely at the customer’s expense.
- Used or damaged items cannot be refunded.
- All4cycling will check the condition of the returned item before issuing a refund.
- If the original packaging or the tags/labels are missing, 20% of the item value will be withheld.
- Returns without an order reference will not be accepted.
- The refund will be issued using the same payment method used for the order. If you prefer a different method, write it in the notes when submitting your return request.
- If you paid by cash on delivery, please include your IBAN in the return notes to receive your refund.
