Miche K1 Evo Boost 29 SPLINE Tubeless wheels

Miche K1 Evo wheels, light and fast: the EVO version revives the racing spirit that marked the K1 generation. T700 high-modulus carbon fiber rim with finish composed of unidirectional (UD) fabrics. Asymmetric section and 26 mm height. The 29 mm inner channel has been widened by two millimeters compared to the previous version and features hookless shoulder machining. Hubs have 24 holes with CNC-machined Ergal center body and high-performance SKF bearings. Straight-headed stainless steel spokes and 110-millimeter boost front axle. The new K1 EVOs with tubeless kit already installed weigh only 1,365 grams (+/- 3%). The rim is the result of synergy between Miche engineers and Wilier-Pirelli Factory Team athletes. A four-handed work that took a good 20 months of development and testing sessions in the lab and in the field. The first prototypes accompanied Fabian Rabensteiner and Wout Alleman to the ABSA Cape Epic 2022. Success at Stage 6 revealed that the path was the right one. The enlarged inner channel allows the use of covers with a cross-section up to 2.4''. Thanks to the hookless standard, operating pressures can be decreased for a larger footprint. The CNC-machined and anodized Ergal-bodied hub accommodates the engagement of 24 spokes (12+12) sfinati 2-1.5 straight-headed. A component that was researched and developed along with all the other elements that go into making up the K1 EVOs. Shimano Micro Spline freewheel body supplied as standard with SRAM XD option.
