Oakley Eye Jacket Redux Sunglasses: Iconic Design and Advanced Protection
The Oakley Eye Jacket Redux sunglasses represent the modern evolution of a 1994 masterpiece, preserving the distinctive wraparound oval design with today’s most innovative optical technologies. Built from O Matter™, Oakley’s exclusive thermoplastic, these sports sunglasses combine exceptional impact resistance with minimal weight, ensuring comfort during extended wear. The Heritage/Lifestyle/Active hybrid frame is perfectly suited to those seeking high performance without aesthetic compromise. The Prizm Ruby lenses provide 17% light transmission, ideal for bright light conditions, delivering superior contrast and definition compared with standard lenses.
Optical Protection and Patented Technologies
Plutonite® protection ensures the highest level of optical defense, filtering 100% of UVA, UVB, and UVC rays as well as harmful blue light up to 400 nm. The Unobtainium® grip, Oakley’s patented hydrophilic rubber, delivers superior non-slip hold on the three-point fit nose pads and temple tips, keeping the sunglasses perfectly aligned even during heavy perspiration. The medium-sized wrap silhouette naturally follows the contours of the face, providing protection from wind and peripheral glare, a key feature for high-performance sunglasses.
Technical Specifications and Precise Fit
The Size S unica (125 mm) features a 137 mm temple length, 39.9 mm lens height, 58 mm lens width, and 19 mm bridge width, designed for a snug, close fit. The Prizm Ruby lenses with Color bronze base and category 3 deliver optimal performance in bright outdoor environments. This model is an ideal choice for those who practice outdoor sports and seek performance sunglasses with a storied heritage and contemporary technology, combining heritage style with advanced functionality.
