Renthal Lock-On grips feature CNC aluminum locking collars, permanently integrated with the core, ensuring maximum security in all weather conditions on the handlebar. The integrated structure eliminates any movement between the grip section and the collars, which might otherwise develop over time. The handlebar grip is the key contact point for controlling the bike. Having a grip suited to your individual needs is extremely important. The medium compound we use in this grip offers high levels of control, combined with increased durability.

• Renthal Lock-On Traction Medium: designed to ride faster, jump farther, and last longer. Features forward-angled finger ridges; when pulling back on the handlebar, most of the grip and torque is concentrated through the fingers.
• The forward-angled ridges in the finger area provide increased grip when pulling back, but remain flat under normal riding conditions for improved comfort.  Rearward angled grooves; During braking or on steep descents, most of the torque and grip concentrate on the palm. Grooves cut at a rearward angle improve grip in this situation. Since the angled groove is cut into the grip, it provides a wide and comfortable surface for the palm under normal riding conditions. Uniform pattern; The grooves and ridges are uniform across the entire width of the grip to accommodate riding with the hand in any position. Whether in the center or with the heel of the hand over the grip end, the additional traction is equally effective.
• Open grip features; When riding in extreme conditions, accidents are inevitable, which can cause the grip to clog. We designed the grips to have open grip features, allowing mud to be expelled from the grip end.
• Offset grip material; For comfort, the grip material under the palm area has been increased to offer improved cushioning. A thinner grip material is used under the finger area to maintain the overall outer diameter.
