• No pain, no numbness - Hand discomfort during cycling is very common, especially on longer tours. With conventional grips, whether rather round or seemingly ergonomic, numbness of the fingers often occurs, along with pain and irritation in the palm and wrists. Discomfort in the forearms and upper arms, as well as the neck and shoulders, can also often be attributed to inadequate grips. Permanent misalignments can cause pain, such as carpal tunnel syndrome.
