Santini Power Shield RPM Wool long-sleeve base layer: advanced thermal insulation
The Jersey base layer Santini Power Shield RPM Wool is a complete technical solution for cycling in cold conditions. The baselayer combines technical merino wool with innovative synthetic materials to deliver thermal insulation without compromising breathability. The front insert in Polartec® Power Shield™ RPM effectively protects against wind gusts and moisture, keeping body temperature stable. This technical setup makes it ideal for those practicing cyclocross and mtb in variable environments, where thermal and moisture management are critical.
Multilayer protection and moisture management
The technical merino wool structure offers superior natural properties in heat regulation, absorbing moisture without reducing insulation. The fabric effectively keeps the skin dry even during intense efforts, thanks to the combination of natural and synthetic fibers. The high collar creates an additional thermal barrier for the neck area, which is known to be critical for heat loss. The ergonomic construction ensures complete freedom of movement, essential while riding, with a slim fit that adapts to any body without bulk.
Versatility and performance in the layering system
The baselayer works effectively as the first layer of a layered clothing system, creating the ideal conditions for active thermoregulation. Compatibility with any mid and outer layer makes it a universal solution for different weather conditions. The technical wool ensures natural antimicrobial properties, reducing the need for frequent washing. Designed for cyclists and athletes who require reliable performance without compromise, this garment is the result of advanced technical research in sportswear.
