Finish Line Halo Wet lube - 120 ml

With the HALO™ series, Finish Line has almost reached the Olympus of lubricants. In any case, they are setting new standards and sustainably extending the lifespan of the drivetrain. In the development of HALO™ Wet Lube, particular attention was paid to minimizing friction and wet adhesion. New innovative technologies, combined with exclusive ingredients, ensure the perfect result. For example, a hydrodynamic liquid film (gas-to-liquid) is synthesized from high-quality natural gas, which envelops the chain like a thin veil. This increases the sliding properties and ensures low noise levels. At the same time, it has excellent adhesion even in rain and wet conditions, which means that maintenance intervals can be significantly extended. Thanks to its spherical shape, the tungsten it contains also creates a rolling effect, which ensures smoother operation, especially at high torques, such as on steep climbs or during sprints. An anti-adhesive protective layer is created by ceramic boron nitride plates, allowing the protective particles to roll away easily. This ensures optimal all-round protection and significantly reduces susceptibility to wear. The application is also very simple and clean. The screw-on Smart Luber™ practically eliminates the risk of overdosing. As with all lubricants, the chain must obviously be thoroughly cleaned beforehand. Then shake the bottle well, open the valve and position the Smart Luber™ upside down on the chain above the horizontal derailleur. Press lightly to release the wax from the bottle and turn the pedals backward about 4 - 6 times. Repeat these steps once more under the horizontal derailleur and allow the wax to dry for 6 - 10 hours. After that, you will be pleased with the new performance. But it's not just your bike that benefits from the HALO™ series. Environmental aspects have also been taken into consideration during the development process: the products are free of fluorine and do not contain hazardous volatile organic compounds (VOCs). And if something should spill, there’s no need to panic: the lubricants are quickly biodegradable in the soil.
