Men's Cycling Vest Pedaled Odyssey Thermal Light Alpha: PrimaLoft Gold insulated vest for the cold months
The Men's Cycling Vest Pedaled Odyssey Thermal Light Alpha is a cycling vest for cold days, insulated with lightweight PrimaLoft Gold. It packs a lot of warmth into a small volume and is ideal in spring, autumn and winter, worn over your jersey on cold descents or during stops. Pedaled places it in an indicative temperature range of 5 to 15 °C, with the top score for thermal insulation.
PrimaLoft Gold insulation and ripstop
PrimaLoft Gold insulation is an advanced material that mimics the high warmth-to-weight ratio of down but, unlike down, keeps performing in damp conditions. The main fabric is 100% polyester with ripstop inserts in 100% nylon; the technical fabric on the upper torso blocks the airflow that would lower your body temperature. It only stops very light drizzle.
Packability, fit and temperatures
Thanks to its excellent packability, the vest folds into its own rear pocket for easy storage: it weighs approx. 70 to 130 grams depending on the size. The semi-slim fit is optimised for comfort and leaves room for layering with full freedom of movement.

- Insulation: PrimaLoft Gold.

Frequently asked questions
What is PrimaLoft Gold?
It is a synthetic insulation that mimics the high warmth-to-weight ratio of down while maintaining its performance in damp conditions, where down loses effectiveness.
Is it waterproof?
No: Pedaled states that it can stop very light drizzle (2 out of 5). For real rain, pair it with a rain jacket or a waterproof vest on top.
How much does it weigh and how small does it pack?
It weighs approx. 70 to 130 grams depending on the size and folds into its own rear pocket, so it is easy to carry in your jersey or in a bike bag.
When should I wear it?
In spring, autumn and winter, over your jersey on cold descents or during stops. Pedaled indicates a temperature range of approx. 5 to 15 °C, with insulation rated 5 out of 5.
