Ranger Fire Jacket Fox: waterproof MTB jacket with thermal insulation
The Ranger Fire Jacket is a mountain bike jacket designed to handle adverse weather conditions while keeping the body insulated from the cold. The 3-layer shell combines a durable polyester outer with a 10k/10k waterproof membrane and a brushed fleece interior, delivering moisture protection and consistent warmth during technical rides. The DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish repels water, mud, and debris, extending the garment’s durability in demanding conditions and rough terrain.
Ergonomic and functional features
The geometry of the MTB jacket is optimized with a longer rear hem to cover the lower back in the riding position, a critical element in off-road riding. The three-panel hood with adjustable drawcord fits securely without restricting visibility or neck mobility. Zippered hand pockets and a hidden rear pocket provide functional storage for essentials without compromising aerodynamics or comfort while pedaling.
Technical specifications and construction
The stretch construction of the waterproof fabric allows freedom of movement in all directions, a key factor for MTB performance. The 71 cm length (Size M) from the high point of the shoulder ensures adequate coverage in the riding position. The brushed fleece interior maintains insulating properties even in moderately damp conditions, while the overall weight of the garment remains low to avoid restriction during long rides.
