Cinturato™ Gravel H is the gravel tire designed for compact terrains, featuring a low tread and very close grooves that ensure a wide contact surface and precise handling on all hard surfaces, including asphalt. It offers excellent performance in all weather conditions, both on dry and wet surfaces thanks to the advanced compound, with a high level of puncture protection. Compatible with hookless rims within the limits of the latest standards, it is available in various sizes, versions, and colors. It is a tire designed primarily for use on fast dirt roads and also long rides with a lot of asphalt, perfect for those seeking maximum rolling efficiency on a Gravel or All-Road bike. Directly from its experience and know-how in Motorsport, Pirelli introduces a patented road formulation in cycling, capable of guaranteeing maximum grip and rolling efficiency on dry and wet surfaces. The elongated shape of the Silica molecules, unlike the common spherical molecular silica used until now, allows a new level of sophistication of the tread compound, resulting in improved handling thanks to the ability to orient the compound in the rolling direction. Furthermore, the enhancement of the tread's mechanical resistance achieved by the improved interaction of Silica with other components (such as aramid fibers directly dispersed in the compound) increases puncture protection and tire durability. With a combination of the know-how developed for reinforced road structures and the experience gained in MTB, our technicians have created a Gravel construction that relies both on the mechanical resistance of the compound itself and on a high cut-resistant layer that protects the casing from bead to bead. While road punctures mainly occur due to penetration of sharp objects, off-road punctures happen more frequently due to stones or debris on the tire sidewall. For this reason, the textile material used for the TechWALL Gravel construction is particularly cut-resistant, ensuring better overall structural resistance. The tubeless-ready casing guarantees optimal riding feel without the risk of forced stops thanks to the use of specific cut-resistant fabrics.
