The Cinturato™ Gravel H tire is designed for compact terrains, featuring a low tread and closely spaced sipes that ensure a broad contact surface and precise handling on all hard surfaces, including asphalt. It delivers excellent performance in all weather conditions, both dry and wet, thanks to the advanced compound, offering a high level of puncture protection. Compatible with hookless rims within the limits of the latest standards, it is available in various sizes, versions, and colors. This tire is primarily intended for use on fast gravel roads and also long rides with significant asphalt sections, perfect for those seeking maximum rolling efficiency on a Gravel or even All-Road bike. Drawing directly from its Motorsport experience and know-how, Pirelli introduces a patented road formulation to cycling, capable of ensuring maximum grip and smoothness on both dry and wet surfaces. The elongated shape of the Silica molecules, unlike the conventional spherical molecular silica used until now, allows for a new level of tread compound sophistication, resulting in improved rideability thanks to the ability to orient the compound in the rolling direction. Furthermore, the enhancement of the tread's mechanical resistance achieved through the improved interaction of Silica with other components (such as aramid fibers directly dispersed in the compound) increases puncture protection and tire longevity. Combining the know-how developed for reinforced road structures and the experience gained in MTB, our technicians have created a Gravel construction that relies both on the mechanical strength of the compound itself and on a high cut-resistance layer protecting the casing from bead to bead. While road punctures mainly occur due to penetration by sharp objects, off-road punctures more frequently result from stones or debris impacting the tire sidewall. For this reason, the Pre-owned textile material used in the TechWALL Gravel construction is particularly resistant to cuts, ensuring improved durability of the entire structure. The tubeless-ready casing guarantees optimal ride feel without the risk of forced stops thanks to the use of specific cut-resistant fabrics.
