    Technical information

    Continental AERO 111 tire: the new generation of aerodynamic tires for road bikes, developed in close collaboration with experts from DT Swiss and Swiss Side. The AERO 111 is based on the proven race technologies of the GP5000 TR series and sets new standards in aerodynamics. The Black Chili compound, optimized for racing, ensures exceptional grip and reduced rolling resistance, while the proven Vectran Breaker provides puncture protection. The patented and aerodynamically optimized tread design features 48 precisely molded air chambers. These so-called "vortex generators" create controlled turbulence, meaning that the airflow stays longer over the rim, reducing drag and optimizing handling in crosswinds.
