KMC GO Wax 80 ml: chain maintenance wax
KMC GO Wax is a chain wax in an 80 ml bottle, used to refresh the treatment of waxed chains. After application, it dries to form a protective barrier. Compared with oil-based lubrication, wax-treated chains attract less dirt, limiting one of the causes of wear and promoting smoother drivetrain operation.
Protective barrier and PFAS-free formula
The formula is free from PFAS and aggressive solvents. KMC describes the barrier formed after drying as more durable than oil-based products. To refresh the treatment, there is no need to remove residual wax from the chain: maintenance still includes cleaning and drying before application.
Application on the dry chain
To renew the wax treatment, shake the bottle and apply the product to the inner side of the dry chain, making it complete a full giro. Do not remove excess wax after application. Allow it to dry completely before riding, with particular attention when you plan to use the bike in wet conditions.

Do I need to remove all the old wax before reapplying it?
No, to renew the treatment KMC does not require you to dewax the chain. The chain must still be clean and dry before application.
Can I ride immediately after applying the wax?
No, you must allow the product to dry completely before using the bike, especially in wet conditions.
Do I need to remove excess wax after application?
No, KMC instructions for renewal state not to remove excess wax and to wait for complete drying.
How often should the treatment be renewed?
The frequency depends on use and external conditions: off-road riding in the wet requires shorter intervals than road riding in the dry. KMC recommends renewing the wax regularly and after every chain cleaning.

Non-EU shipping
Local VAT and any customs duties for shipments of goods to customers outside the European Union (non-EU) will be charged to the recipient and requested by the courier at the time of delivery. - You can request a return within 60 days of delivery.
- Start your request from the Returns and Order Cancellations page by entering your order number.
- Within the first 14 days, you may try the product as necessary to check its features and fit.
- From day 15 to day 60, the product must be unused, intact and complete with original packaging, labels and accessories.
- Use beyond what is necessary may result in a reduction of the refund based on the loss in value of the product.
- The refund is issued, after the returned item has been checked, using the same payment method used for the order.
- If you paid by cash on delivery, please provide a valid IBAN in the return request notes.
- Direct exchanges for size, colour or model are not available: return the item and place a new order.
- For incorrect, damaged or defective products, please contact Customer Service before making the return.

- Place the product's original packaging inside an outer shipping package.

- When trying on clothing that you may return, avoid perfume, deodorant or any use that may leave odours or marks.
