Dynamic Prime Wax: paraffin hot wax for every terrain
Dynamic Prime Wax is Dynamic's hot wax based on high-quality paraffin, designed to work anywhere: rain on tarmac, dusty gravel roads or muddy woodland trails. Its hardness ensures consistent performance in rain, snow, heat or dust, with a quiet, smooth and clean chain that drastically reduces maintenance.
Up to 8 watts saved and a longer-lasting drivetrain
According to Dynamic, Prime Wax saves up to 8 watts of friction compared with traditional lubes and extends drivetrain life up to 10 times, because a clean chain doesn't carry sand and dust between its links. The formula is PFAS-free and microplastic-free, melts quickly and dries fast; it is compatible with Slick Wax and Speed Potion Wax.
With the Waxifyer or in a water bath
With the Waxifyer, melt it on the Perfect setting (75-85 °C) after degreasing the chain and drivetrain with Striptease. The chain stays immersed for 15 minutes, then is hung on the Drip Dock and left to harden, ideally for half a day. Alternatively, melt it in a water bath by placing the pack in water at about 85 °C for 10-20 minutes; each treatment uses about 4 g of wax.

Frequently asked questions
Is a wax heater essential?
No. The most precise result comes with the Waxifyer, but Prime Wax can also be melted in a water bath by placing the pack in hot water at about 85 °C.
How many treatments can be done?
Each treatment uses about 4 g of wax and, as long as the wax stays clean, the leftover can be reused for subsequent waxings. It is still best to replace it when it becomes visibly dirty or contaminated.
How do I top up between two waxings?
Dynamic suggests refreshing the chain with Slick Wax or Speed Potion Wax when there's no time for a full hot treatment. They are liquid waxes compatible with hot wax and are applied in a few minutes to a clean, dry chain.
Does an already waxed chain need degreasing?
No, there's no need to degrease a chain already treated with wax again: just clean it and dip it in the molten wax again. This is one of the main advantages of hot waxing: subsequent maintenance is much quicker and cleaner than with oil.

- You can request a return within 60 days of delivery.
- Start your request from the Returns and Order Cancellations page by entering your order number.
- Within the first 14 days, you may try the product as necessary to check its features and fit.
- From day 15 to day 60, the product must be unused, intact and complete with original packaging, labels and accessories.
- Use beyond what is necessary may result in a reduction of the refund based on the loss in value of the product.
- The refund is issued, after the returned item has been checked, using the same payment method used for the order.
- If you paid by cash on delivery, please provide a valid IBAN in the return request notes.
- Direct exchanges for size, colour or model are not available: return the item and place a new order.
- For incorrect, damaged or defective products, please contact Customer Service before making the return.
