The NTA 8776 certification is a specific standard for speed e-bikes, considering a higher average speed and consequently greater impact energies in the event of an accident. To be compliant, the helmet must dissipate more energy compared to standard models, also adding extra coverage in the most sensitive areas: the temples and the nape.
