The Headdy Icons Mercatone Uno #6 cycling cap is born from that jersey - not from a reproduction of it. Original fabric, cut and hand-sewn, transformed into a unique accessory that preserves colors, logos and details exactly as they were in the race.
Marco Pantani and the Mercatone Uno jersey
In 1998, Marco Pantani won the Giro d'Italia and the Tour de France in the same year. No one has managed it since. Headdy Icons recovers official vintage cycling jerseys now out of production and transforms them into handcrafted cycling caps through a process of manual cutting and sewing. Each cap in the collection is different from the others: the distribution of logos, the cut point, the graphic that emerges from the crown change from piece to piece. The result is an object that carries authentic sporting memory, without being a simple vintage reinterpretation.

- You can return your order within 60 days of purchase.
- Returns are eligible for a refund only: size exchanges are not available.
- You will receive your refund within 15 business days after we receive and inspect the item.
- Returns are FREE in Italy. For other countries, return shipping is at the customer’s expense.
- For returns from Germany and Austria, €6.90 will be deducted from the refund.
- For returns from Spain and France, €9.90 will be deducted from the refund.
