The cycling cap Headdy Icons Mapei #2 is part of an exclusive selection of 11 unique pieces, created through the recovery of original vintage cycling jerseys. Each item has been cut, worked and sewn to transform a piece of cycling history into a new, unrepeatable accessory full of identity. The project was born from the idea of giving new life to technical materials now out of production, enhancing the colors, graphics, sponsors and details that belong to the most iconic imagery of cycling.
The story of Team Mapei and Paolo Bettini
The Mapei jersey didn't need to be sober. It needed to win. And it won. On the cobblestones of Roubaix, on the ramps of Flanders, in the finales of the great classics: Team Mapei was for almost a decade the team to beat. Those colored geometric fragments — blue, orange, green, yellow — were always visible at the front, in the moments that matter. One of those men was Paolo Bettini: the Grillo from Cecina was not the most powerful rider in the peloton, but he knew where to attack and when. Wearing this jersey he won Liège-Bastogne-Liège in 2000. Then came the Olympic gold in Athens and two consecutive world titles.

- You can return your order within 60 days of purchase.
- Returns are eligible for a refund only: size exchanges are not available.
- You will receive your refund within 15 business days after we receive and inspect the item.
- Returns are FREE in Italy. For other countries, return shipping is at the customer’s expense.
- For returns from Germany and Austria, €6.90 will be deducted from the refund.
- For returns from Spain and France, €9.90 will be deducted from the refund.
- For other countries, the cost varies depending on the selected carrier. Shipping is entirely at the customer’s expense.
- Used or damaged items cannot be refunded.
- All4cycling will check the condition of the returned item before issuing a refund.
- If the original packaging or the tags/labels are missing, 20% of the item value will be withheld.
