Mavic Cosmic Ultimate UST disc wheels, Ultimate isn't just a name, it's the perfect description of this balance bike. And which is now compatible with tubeless and clincher tires, but in any case only for road bikes with disc brakes. Only approx. 1225 g, achieves the maximum balance between lightness, maximum rigidity and aerodynamics. The rim is based on a 100% carbon NACA aerodynamic profile, 45mm high and 27mm wide. Their complex lay-up of the fibers optimizes the stiffness / weight ratio. And the carbon top layer has the attractive UD² finish. Since the rim base is not drilled, no rim tape is needed to make the rim airtight - this is the guarantee for trouble-free tubeless operation.With 20 ultra-thin aero spokes each and extra high, narrow carbon hub flanges, it actually and demonstrably offers advantages in terms of aerodynamics. It is also ultra-stiff thanks to the spokes made with unidirectional carbon fibers that do not stretch. They run continuously from one side of the rim to the other - with R2R technology, two each are replaced by a single spoke, which also does not have to be firmly anchored to the hub. This also increases the rigidity of the impeller. Industrial bearings with automatic bearing preload are used in carbon hub bodies. The Instant Drive 360 freewheel on the rear wheel guarantees lightning-fast frictional engagement (40 engagement points = 9 °) and minimal frictional losses. Hubs are thru axle compatible (front 12x100mm, rear 12x142mm), for center-lock brake discs only. This impeller was designed, developed and patented by Mavic in Annecy (France). It is 100% handmade in France.

Shipments outside the EU
