Tirreno-Adriatico, the Race of the Two Seas

Tirreno-Adriatico is the name of the men's stage road cycling race that takes place every year in March. For 2023, it is scheduled from 6 to 12 March.
The race brings together multiple teams, representing different countries worldwide, along a route that connects the Tyrrhenian Sea to the Adriatic Sea and crosses Italy with a course of challenging climbs, flat sections, and breathtaking scenery.

A surge of excitement, since 1966

The first edition of the Tirreno-Adriatica race was held in 1966, and today it is considered the key benchmark in the build-up to Milan-Sanremo.
The winner is awarded a spectacular trophy: the golden trident of Neptune, god of the sea, a particularly fitting symbol given the coast-to-coast route.
