Body Assos Equipe RS Rapidfire LS Chronosuit, balance between speed and support. As with all the items in the S9 collection, Rapidfire uses the A-Lock Engineering system to support the shorts and ensure that they remain stable in the most arduous races against time. Starting from this system, just two panels are used, with the first of the two in the shape of a butterfly that wraps the legs entirely, then converging at the rear so as to form the ergoBox structure. This design firmly holds the seat pad in place and wraps the legs ensuring maximum comfort thanks to Type.701kompressor: a complex fabric, effective from all points of view. It uses ultra-thin yarns with superior elasticity, generating an almost entirely rubbing-free texture that supports the muscles and gives unprecedented comfort. Type.701 fabric becomes practically like a second skin, guaranteeing a phenomenal structural hold and breathability, wrapping the lower back and thighs without interruption and with softness. In the compartment reserved for the case back, a completely new material CHRONO RS S9 was applied, an evolution of the EQUIPE RS S9 +. To favor the forward stretch position assumed in the most aggressive running situations when wearing the chronosuit, shortening the bottom by 3 cm on the back and moving the 9 mm of superAir microShock foam forward. For the upper part, the Cube fabric was borrowed from the SpeedFire chronosuit, a three-dimensional knitted elastic jacquard fabric perfected in the wind tunnel in order to give speed while minimizing resistance. To join the parts of the chronosuit there is a zip positioned ad hoc along the left rear side, which allows the three-dimensional fabric exposed to the wind on the front side to perform its function, without impediments due to the presence of a central zipper.
Type.701kompressor: a patented fabric developed specifically for the compressive grip and comfort of the second skin. 160 g / m2, UPF 50+, colored yarns with infused odor control, maximum abrasion resistance, friction reduction, hydrophobicity and heat management. Elongation granted in the front panel for greater comfort.

• Cube: main fabric in the upper half of the suit, developed in the wind tunnel and characterized by a woven 3D jacquard structure that is known for its exceptional moisture management, breathability, compression quality and slippery speed.
• A-Lock Engineering: S9 racingFit system which includes new fabrics and technologies that work in harmony to stabilize the shorts and secure the insert in place.
• Butterfly motif: the main textile panel that completely wraps the lower back and the legs, which join in the back. Fewer seams allow for a smoother grip, lower weight and greater comfort.
• ErgoBox: a square motif construction that effectively frames the insert on the back, boxing it for greater stability.
• CHRONO RS S9: specific Chrono insert in 3D basalt coloring. 3 cm shorter than EQUIPE RS S9 in the rear, with targeted thickness in the front for optimal comfort and support in the most aggressive forward driving position.
• MicroShock superAir foam: a light open cell foam with a shock absorbing composition that returns to its original position, filling the space every time the pedaling position is changed in the saddle through weight shifting.
• 3D Waffle: patented three-layer perforated foam that increases breathability and eliminates excess weight.
• GoldenGate: a patented technology that interrupts the seams along both side panels of the insert, allowing greater three-dimensional freedom of movement in this delicate rotation area.
• Mesh radio pocket: sewn at the top of the rear panel for accessible but out of the way positioning.
• Falken Cut: exclusive ASSOS triangular model on the abdominal area for ultra-smooth wrapping.
• Back zipper: the coupled zipper inclined towards the rear ensures that the 3D fabric exposed to the wind of the suit in the front is able to do its job, uninterruptedly from a central closure.
• Collarless construction: a design trimmed to the essential in the pursuit of minimization of resistance.
• Raw cut legs: evenly wrap the thighs with fixed hold silicone points to achieve the best balance between comfort and aerodynamics.
• AeroFit: our slimmer, speed-focused, tighter and more compressive cut than our racingFit. It may seem restrictive out of the driving position, but it looks like a second skin while driving.
